3. How to Login on HEC job portal?

A Login screen will appear when you click on a link that takes you to a service that is reserved for HEC job portal members only.

Username is your HEC job portal membership/identification. Password is your at least 6 characters long and should include alpha numeric characters.

5. How to use the HEC Online CV builder?

HEC online CV Builder provides an easy and fast way for a jobseeker to build CV(s), edit them whenever they like.

A simple way of making your CV's online is by just filling in the necessary details that are required. Builder helps you to create and save your own CVs which could be used when applying for job.

5.2 CV Details

Provide the relevant for the CV details area as shown below:

Note: that CV that has been marked as private would not be searched by employers

Experience would be automatically calculated once the user has completed Work Experience section

5.3 Tabs which are available for the CV builder

5.3.1 Personal information

There is no need to provide the Personal Information because this information would be automatically picked from the Job seeker profile, if any of the provided information you could do it here.

5.3.2 Education tab

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Education instances as you like. Provide complete educational history including Post Graduate, Graduate and Undergraduate Degrees or studies.

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Publications instances as you like. Provide complete publication history with Title of Paper, Publication Date, and Complete Name of the Journal & Address and Journal type.

5.3.4 Research Projects

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Research Projects instances as you like. Provide research projects details by providing the details for the field.

5.3.5 Certifications

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Professional Training / Certifications instances as you like. Provide Professional Training / Certifications details by providing the details for the field.

5.3.6 Work Experience

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Work Experience instances as you like. Provide complete details of Work Experience by providing the details for the field.

5.3.7 Affiliations

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Affiliations instances as you like. Provide complete details of Affiliations by providing the details for the field.

5.3.8 Skills

CV Builder will allow you to create as many Skills instances as you like. Provide complete details of Skills by providing the details for the field.

6. How to Apply for Job Using CV?

Second, click on the Apply button for the particular job as shown

Third, select the CV/Resume with which you would like to apply for a Job

Select the Route of Application

Select the Desired Test Center

Select Age relaxation (Maximum age limit as prescribed in the recruitment rules shall be relaxed in respect of the candidates mentioned in column (2) below to the extent mentioned against each under column)

Category	Description	Age Relaxation
Category IA	Candidates belonging to scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas for all posts under the Federal government	3 years
Category IB	Candidates belonging to Sindh(R) and Balochistan for post in BPS-15 and below under the Federal Government	3 years
Category II	Released or Retired Officers personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan	15 years or the number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less
Category III	Government servants who have completed 2 years continuous government services on the closing date for receipt of application	10 years, upto the age of 55 years
Category IV	Disabled persons for appointments to posts in BPS-15 and below	10 years

Cover Letter would automatically appear for the job you can either change this or use any other appropriate cover letter

Please read the required section for a job post for a particular job before applying which would provide all the relevant information with regard to proceed with a application.

On the login page, Click on the forgot password link
